About Me

As a fully qualified and certified personal trainer, I firmly believe in the positive benefits that fitness and exercise can bring to all areas of our lives.   I have received  a Bachelor's degree and Master's degree from UCCS.  I am certified as a personal trainer as well as biomechanics corrective exercise specialist.  With over 9 years experience I still continue to learn of the changing landscape involving fitness, exercise and health.  I continue to seek out additional educational opportunities to further help others with their fitness journeys.  What does this mean for you?  You will receive quality, top tier workouts that are safe for you.  When dealing with musculoskeletal injuries or limitations I will utilize other tools the body offers to help you achieve a higher quality lifestyle.

I implement phases to your fitness routine that will increase your strength while also decreasing pain.  Unlike other personal trainers, I incorporate a variety of aspects of health including functional strength training, flexibility, muscle fascia release, nutritional guidance, and most recently, BRAIN FITNESS which involves nervous system work.

After a severe back injury in 2017, I explored new ways to safely train clients with low back pain and a weak core structure.  I know firsthand what it is like to stand in pain, barely walk to the kitchen, getting off the floor with assistance and even struggling to walk the neighborhood block.  I understand and emphasize with those experiencing chronic pain.  There is relief that comes with consistency and expertise in the smarter way to approach exercising.

These adaptation led me to opening up a new personal training business,
Restore Fitness, in 2018.  I wanted to restore my own fitness as well as coach others through the process of recovery.  Therefore, the vision for Restore Fitness is to restore health, healing and belief in oneself through fitness.
